Trip Itinerary

Thursday, March 1

8:30 am: Depart JPT and travel via coach to Orlando Publix for supplies. Then on to the Hilton Hotel at Downtown Disney. We'll settle in and attend a JPT meeting.

7:45 pm:  Opening Session, Campaign Speeches

9:00 pm – 11:00 pm: Competitive Events Orientation - Find out the time you will compete..

11:30 pm: Curfew - This means INSIDE your room. No excuses accepted.

Friday, March 2

11:00 am – 12:00 pm: Scholarship Interviews 

Students will compete in either the morning or afternoon sessions
8:00 –  Noon (Morning Session): Competitive role play or presentations

1:00 pm –  5:00 pm (Afternoon Session): Competitive role play or presentations

7:30 pm – 9:00 pm: Business Session/Campaign Speeches/Election

9:00 pm –  10:00 pm: Scavenger Hunt - Role play review with prizes

11:30 pm:  Curfew - This means INSIDE your room. No excuses accepted.

Saturday, March 3

8:00 am – Noon:  Individual and team event area testing

1:00 pm– 4:00 pm: JPT DECA host an afternoon at the movies

5:30 pm: JPT DECA dinner at Rainforest Cafe

8:00 pm – 10:30 pm:  Awards Ceremony

10:30 pm – 11:45 pm:  Awards Dance (tentative)

12:00 am:   Curfew - It's later tonight! Don't go too crazy with your extra 1/2 an hour.

Sunday, March 4

8:30 am – 10:30 am:  National Career Development Conference Orientation 

9:30 am – 10:30 am: Room check

10:45 am: Depart for JPT

2:30 pm – 3:00 pm: ETA
